Wow, it feels like just yesterday (and a couple blog posts ago!) that I was getting back from training in Texas. Now I'm off for a few months to Iraq. I can't - and shouldn't - post specific details on the web. However as many, if not all, of our readers know I'm taking off soon. Too soon. The silver lining is that I should be home in time for Aidan's first birthday.
I'll be staying in touch while away from the family and Heather will once again be the primary keeper of the blog. She does such a good job!
If you would like to send well wishes or care packages for my troops, you can contact Heather about shipping instructions - I'll be giving her the info when I get over there. Again, I can't post stuff like that for the world to see.
I'm going to be missing my family terribly (as I'm sure they'll be missing me) but I leave confident that they will be taken care of by our neighbors, our congregation, and our "second family" the Air Force. Keep them in your prayers!
